My name is Julie. I am a Paediatric Nurse by profession but have always loved sewing. When I had my first daughter, I made her a memory bear from her beautiful little baby clothes that I couldn’t bear to part with, and then for my second daughter, a memory lion, and these are now keepsakes we can treasure forever.

I also love to wear comfy jumpers, so decided to make a MAMA sweatshirt for myself with applique lettering using their tiny baby grows, and then started making them for friends and family too, which is where ‘stitching memories’ started. I love making sweatshirts and hoodies as we can wear our memories and cherish them forever, rather than keeping their little clothes tucked away in a box.
